On the first Wednesday of the month we hold a Zoom meeting online at 2pm. These meetings are currently free and allow members who are not able to come to the live meetings to dive in and read and discuss their work in the same way as at the in person meetings.
Unfortunately, you do have to provide your own tea and biscuits, but hey, it's free, join anyway.
IsleWrite Meetings
IN PERSON
IsleWrite meets on the third Wednesday of the month at Broadstairs Library in Broadstairs, on the ground floor to the right of the main entrance.
The Loop bus, which circles Thanet between Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate, stops almost outside, and there is parking available behind the Railway Station.
Our meetings are free, but we do like to charge £3.00 to members to cover the cost of the coffee and biscuits at half time, and general admin costs which might occur over the year, such as the publication of anthologies of our work.
Meetings start at two, and though the aim is to get through all the work by four, they do sometimes overrun.
